Edward “Ed” Ferenczi

Edward “Ed” Ferenczi is a Broker Associate with Compass and leads NuGen at Compass, a South Florida real estate team serving Miami-Dade and Broward County.

Ed began his real estate career in New York in 2001 and has spent more than two decades helping buyers, sellers, investors and developers. He founded NuGen Realty, “a Nu-Generation of Realtors,” and CondosGlobal.com, a marketplace for new and pre-construction condos, before bringing his team to Compass in 2026.

His practice covers four areas: single-family homes; multifamily and income property; commercial real estate including warehouse, mixed-use and office; and new-construction condominiums across South Florida. He works with luxury buyers and sellers, investors, and many international clients. Recent work includes a $9.25 million Coconut Grove development-site sale, part of a multi-property assemblage.

A Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Ed brings a background in mortgage lending and investment analysis to every deal. He has shared his insights on industry panels, and he gets real satisfaction from putting people in a position to succeed.
